Wheeler's top model «Route 1.7» is an eye-catcher with its «White Carbon»-finish, resulting from bidirectionally woven fiberglass layers.

But this frame has lots to offer beneath its finishing layer as well: The frame has become stiffer both at the headtube and bottom bracket section and still is vertically more compliant at the rear triangle - all this at a lower weight. Combined with Carbotec's monocoque carbon fork, the result is an incredibly lightweight chassis with precise handling. Only fine parts are selected to complete this extraordinary frame: Shimano's «Ultegra»-drivetrain keeps you going forward as all of your power is being transferred by FSA's carbon compact crankset. Its slightly smaller gears make uphills less of a chore for non-professionals. Numerous parts like the handlebar, the stem and the seatpost are also produced by FSA and round off the image of a precious racing machine for demanding riders as well as a Selle Italia saddle and the Ultegra wheelset.
