PRO 49 27-SPEED

If you're looking for comfort as much as for a bike that is easy to handle and versatile as well, the «Pro 49» is the right choice for you.

As backbone, this bike gets a lightweight aluminum frame with useful details - such as cunningly crafted dropouts that allow for the mounting of accessories like a fender or a carrier. You can see from the massive stanchion tubes of RST's «Gila Pro RL»-fork that this is one of the stiffer models on the market. So you can absolutely rely on the «Pro 49»'s chassis, even if should happen not to be a featherweight. Shifting is performed in true pro-style: With Shimano's «DualControl»-levers, you do not only control a set of powerful V-brakes with your brake levers. They also serve to shift the 27 gears of the «Deore»-drivetrain. Thanks to an «LX» rear derailleur, this works even better. A comfortable sports saddle and a riserbar make sure you're fully enjoyed when riding the «Pro 49».

FOR 2008, THE «PRO 49» GETS A SUSPENSION FORK THAT OFFERS A LOCK-OUT FUNCTION FROM THE HANDLEBAR - NO MORE BOBBING ON THOSE LONG CLIMBS.
