This starts with the main frame that is both stiff and light-weight thanks to the use of carbon fibre. The classic four-bar system is still unrivaled in terms of efficiency. For the bike's components, Wheeler's product managers have drawn on seemingly endless resources. Fox «32 F100 RLC» fork is stiff and offers lots of adjustments with a twist on the turning knobs. DT Swiss' «Carbon LRCS» damper can even be locked-out from the bike's handlebar. Seen the high-end quality of the chassis, the best is just about good enough for the rest of the parts. Shimano's «XTR» drivetrain delivers lightning-fast, precise shifting, and Magura's «Martha SL»-discbrake makes sure you've got adequate stopping power on board as well. More than just eye-catchers are various of Ritchey's «WCS Carbon»-series parts: They help lower the complete bike's weight close to the 10-kilogram-mark as much as DT Swiss' featherweight «XR1450» wheelset. If the results are not up to your expectations, you have to blame something else than your «Falcon Limited Edition».
