The «Ecorider 2.2» is Wheeler's sturdiest commuter bike, aiming at young people with a limited budget.
Thanks to its compact aluminum frame, RST's suspension fork and wide 26-inch tires, this bike looks a lot like a mountain bike - especially with its wide rizerbar. The same goes for the drivetrain which offers no less than 24 gears and powerful V-brakes - parts that would do their job in terrain as well. But as it comes equipped with a hub dynamo from Shimano, Busch & Müller's halogen headlight and a backlight including a parking light function, the «Ecorider 2.2» is also a fully functional, up to date citybike. You also get a frame lock from Trelock as standard equipment to keep thieves from unauthorisedly enjoying your Wheeler bike all of a sudden. Because theft might be the only way to get a fully functional citybike like the «Ecorider 2.2» for even less money.
