| With its high-class specification, the top model of
Wheeler’s «Hornet»-line will please even demanding
bikers: Demanding to themselves, their equipment and
the trails they ride. Thanks to its variable travel, the «Hornet
10» shines on steep climbs as well as on tricky descents.
Shorten the bike’s travel on the «All Mountain»-fork and the
swingarm for long ascents. On the mountain top, you can
set the suspension back to its full travel quickly. Wheeler’s
product managers have speced the «Hornet 10» with a lot
of precious componentry in order to make sure you’ll enjoy
your ride for quite a while: SRAM’s X.9-drivetrain offers lightning-
fast shifting at a low weight. Similarily, Magura’s new «Louise»-discbrake offers plenty of stopping power without
a weight penalty – a 180mm-rotor on the front delivers an
extra portion of braking for long downhills. On top of all that,
you’ll get a pair of Crankbrother’s neat «Acid»-pedals to
make sure you keep connected to your «Hornet 10». |
